onsite property management association   Resort Collection’s Vice President of Business Development, Paul Wohlford, saw a need to level the playing field in the hospitality industry. He then spearheaded a group of business leaders across the nation – including Resort Collection – to come together to form the Onsite Property Management Association (OPMA). Currently, OPMA represents over 55,000 resort accommodations and managers of companies both large and small that come from across the country and even abroad. In just a few short years, since its inception in 2013, OPMA has already become the premier forum for our industry of onsite transient rental managers. Property management companies from across the nation who join OPMA find themselves in the midst of fellow professionals who, on a daily basis, are dealing with the very same specific challenges that everyone else in our industry faces; and these challenges can sometimes be daunting. OPMA has become a needed resource and advocate for property management companies. In addition to onsite property managers, OPMA allows membership to a select group of industry service providers who are focused and already in tune to the unique business model of vacation rental management. This allows property managers to leverage our suppliers to ensure we get high-quality products and services at the most competitive cost. The bi-annual Executive Summits that OPMA hosts are particularly informative and extremely well received by virtually all those that attend.
