Top Box Office Picks for a Rainy Day

Just because it’s raining doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! We hate that the weather is making beach-going hard today, but it’s nice and dry at the movies! Visit the Grand Theater in Pier Park and watch the summer’s biggest blockbusters. Here are the Top 3 flicks in the box office this week:

If you’re into adult humor, or have teenagers, Ted might be a good choice for you. Right now it sits at the top of the charts after being out for only one weekend. Considering that and the fact that it was written by Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, we think it’s probably worth checking out.
Now, if it’s girls’ night out and you are big fans of Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum (OMG!), Magic Mike is for you. It has a lot of adult situations, so it is not the best idea for the family, but it’s #2 on the charts and we’ve heard even the guys didn’t hate it.

Lastly, if you have a family of all ages, as many of you staying with us do, Brave is a great choice. Disney-Pixar’s noble tale about a sporty princess who has a chance to change her fate sits at #3 on the charts this week. Also, if you’re looking for some laughs for the whole family, Madagascar 3 is still out, and as funny as ever.
