Events, Dining, and Catching Pokémon in Panama City Beach!
In a city that has waves for days and enough sunshine to light up the whole world, it’s hard not to beach it every day. However, if you ever find yourself hanging around Panama City Beach for an extended stay, we’d like to invite you to hang out and mingle with the locals.
Just because we live here, doesn’t mean we don’t like to spend time in paradise as if we’re on vacation. In fact, year-round events in Panama City Beach were designed to be fun for all.

Movies & Music Events Series
Every Sunday night, just a few miles west of Panama City Beach, the WaterSound Origins community hosts a night of music or movies. The city’s night sky acts as the perfect backdrop and setting for a night out with the family. This event will continue until August 28. See what movie is next at WaterSound.com.
Groovin’ on the Green Concerts
One of the many reasons we love Panama City Beach (besides the obvious) are the events that bring people together to enjoy, well, Panama City Beach. If you have time, mark your calendars to catch a “Groovin’ on the Green” concert. They’re free, fun and a great way to bond with others. After all, they say PCB is the best place to make friends. Perfect for visitors and locals alike, Pier Park will satisfy any shopper’s desire. They’ve got the perfect blend of national chain brands you love and stores unique to the area you’ll want to stop in and check out. The colorful shopping center features a movie theater, restaurants and even a bounty of Pokémon stops and Gyms for the avid PokémonGO player, so you won’t have to take a break from your latest Pokémon adventure while on vacation.
On that note, should you or the kids want to stay at a Pokémon-friendly resort, we’d like to point out that Laketown Wharf and Edgewater Beach Resort each have three Pokéstops. Just an added bonus!
