To top it all off, the Beach Home for the Holidays event makes your season magical when you visit Panama City Beach. After all the Thanksgiving festivities have come and gone (including Black Friday shopping), Panama City Beach will turn into a winter wonderland—without the unbearably cold weather. ’Tis the season (comfortably dressed in a T-shirt) to partake in a festive holiday event with cheery music, fun activities, fireworks, campfire s’mores and much, much more!
Beach Home for the Holidays starts Thanksgiving weekend, November 25 and 26, at Aaron Bessant Park with a special visit from Santa Claus, performances by the Panama City POPS Orchestra, and A Wynonna & The Big Noise Christmas. End the night with Fireworks and a big Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Get the complete schedule of events here.

Continue the celebration around Panama City Beach as there’s still so much more to do and see right up until Christmas Day. Light up your eyes at Shipwreck Island Waterpark also known as Santa’s Beach House Village during the winter. Then take a skate around the ice rink at through a forest of lighted Christmas trees when you visit Christmas Tree Forest & Ice Palace at the intersection of Alf Coleman Road and Front Beach Road.

The fun doesn’t stop after Christmas! Head down to Pier Park for Panama City Beach’s famous New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop! This is not your typical New Year’s Eve celebration; you’ll get to experience live music, fireworks, and, best of all, a massive ball drop that includes ten thousand inflatable beach balls dropping for the family-friendly finale at 8:00 PM (followed by fireworks!) and one big, bright 800-pound LED beach ball dropping at the stroke of midnight.
Whether you’re extending your holiday beach vacation through New Year’s or until March, there’s no better holiday tradition!
