Last month, we introduced our rental owners to the Onsite Property Management Association (OPMA). As promised, new developments are always taking shape when industry experts get together to discuss how to improve the hospitality experience for everyone involved. Paul Wohlford, Vice President of Business Development for Resort Collection in Panama City Beach, Florida, closed the Spring 2017 OPMA Executive Summit by introducing a new friends and family type travel program, the OPMA Travel Circle. OPMA comprises 46 property management companies (PMCs) across the country, representing over 55,000 vacation rental units, and over 40 supplier members; all of which represent a countless number of employees. The OPMA Travel Circle will allow these fellow OPMA members and suppliers, their employees, owners, families, and friends to get exclusive discounts at OPMA member properties around the country. Later this year, at the Fall OPMA Executive Summit, Wohlford will expand on the progression of the OPMA Travel Circle and detail what steps our fellow property management company members will need to do to participate in the program. By 2018, we are hoping to have a comprehensive travel program that you – our owners – will all benefit from. You, your family, and friends will have access to the most compelling deals at OPMA member properties across the country – including Hawaii! Resort Collection is proud to have spearheaded this initiative and we look forward to inviting you to officially utilize the program upon its launch.
