HINT: you can achieve all travel resolutions in one vacation to Panama City Beach!

With the New Year quickly approaching, it’s a time-honored tradition to begin making a list for resolutions to accomplish. Being in the hospitality industry, we decided to cater to the “travelers” of the world and share our 5 travel resolutions for 2019.

  1. Spend more time with family.

This is an easy one to accomplish. Book a vacation. Anywhere. Anytime. Just take a vacation with your family and spend that quality time together you have been longing for. Of course, we recommend Panama City Beach in the spring! Skip the crowds and long wait times and still soak up our abundant sunshine and warm weather on the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches.

  1. Save money.

This is a resolution we all could stand to try a little. Don’t skip the vacation, just vacation smart! Book during a great sale or promotion, travel in the off-season like the fall, and have nature be your attractions. Fall in Panama City Beach is still just as warm and beautiful as our peak summer season, but nowhere near the cost. There is also so much to do an see for FREE. Take a walk in the conservation park or one of our numerous state parks, go hunting for shells or treasures in the sand, or just lounge and play at the beach all day—it’s our best asset.

  1. Try something new.

If you’ve never been to Panama City Beach, it’s time to visit. If you’ve been every summer since you were 10, still visit because there is always something new coming to or opening in our community. Take a ride on the brand new SkyWheel at Pier Park and see the entire 27-mile shoreline, or portray your inner race car driver at Kartona The Electric Speedway, an indoor go-kart park. As we say, life is too short not to try it all!

  1. Get fit.

Ever take a walk in the soft, white sand of Panama City Beach? Check this resolution off the list. Hello, burning thighs!

  1. Disconnect.

You will obviously travel with a smartphone or at least a camera; how else would you be able to document your family at the beach and those adorable moments? But don’t bury your head in them at all times. Some days choose to leave them back at the resort; and plan ahead on directions, reservations, what to do, etc. You’d be surprised how much more you enjoy when you take in the moment with your eyes, not a lens.
