Early Monday morning Tropical Storm Claudette came a shore on the Northwest Florida coast. Proving to mainly be a rain event for Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort. Here are local up dates from the News Herald online: UPDATE: 10:16 a.m. Three state parks have reopened overnight accommodations: St. Andrews State Park, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park and St. George Island State Park. The Florida Park Service closed the campgrounds and evacuated overnight visitors at the three parks Sunday because of Tropical Storm Claudette. UPDATE: 10:19 a.m. All state roads in the Florida Panhandle are open, according to a news release from the Florida Department of Transportation. As the storm moves northwest the rain and clounds will clear, returing the beach to sunny skies with chances of summer thunder storms throughout the week. For more information on T.S.
