On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce will be presented with a check on behalf of the BP Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund. The press conference and check presentation will take place at the Edgewater Beach Resort pool deck at 10:30am, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Patrick Juneau, representing the BP Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund, will present the grant money to Beach Chamber Chairman, Paul Wohlford.

The Beach Chamber is one of only two organizations from Bay County to be awarded BP grant money. The funds will be put towards the 2013 Panama City Beach Seafood & Music Festival. It is the Beach Chamber’s hope that with the help of the Gulf Tourism and Seafood Promotional Fund, it will be able to not only bring awareness, but re-brand the Gulf Coast region as an abundant resource for seafood and fishing. Media is strongly encouraged to attend the check presentation! Please RSVP to Lauren Williams at Lauren@PCBeach.org.
