There’s no doubt our gorgeous white-sand beaches, emerald-green waters, and sunny days are main attractions of Panama City Beach, Florida; however, Pier Park is also a great contender. It’s the perfect blend of a beach-town boardwalk with shopping, dining, entertainment, and nightlife. It’s your one-stop shop (or in this case, one-stop park) for fun!   Upon entrance, you’ll be greeted by a welcome gate that sets the scene with fun beach ball motifs and bright colors. Drive on in and you’ll see a charming, tropical-colored community of shops that really embraces the beachy environment it sits on. You’ll feel like you’ve never left the beach as you walk on seashell-adorned sidewalks through rows of palm trees with tropical plants alongside. This is just the start!

If you’re a shopping fanatic, we’re sure Pier Park will be on your list of favorite “parks” in Panama City Beach with its load of recognizable national retail stores and cute shops unique to the area. From Target to Dillard’s, American Eagle, Victoria’s Secret, Charming Charlie, Old Navy, Nike, and many more—plus charming costal boutiques like DejaVu and Lizard Thicket—shopping is just one piece of the park’s puzzle.   Pier Park is a whole arena of entertainment that includes activities such as dining, The Grand 16 movie theater, gaming, laser tag, and amusement rides. It also hosts seasonal events like the annual New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop and concerts, Pirates of the High Seas Festival, and the annual PCB Marathon and Half Marathon.   The Simon Property Group center boasts 124 tenants, making it the largest entertainment complex in Northwest Florida and the number two gathering place out in Panama City Beach (after the beach, of course).   “It’s somewhere people can go and know they can find something to do!” explains Michael Kerrigan, director of marketing at Pier Park. “We generate ten million visitors each year. Even during the slower seasons, we reach full capacity because of our events like Mardi Gras at the Beach and the New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop.”   The lively entertainment center is a favorite to locals and visitors alike, and if you’ve never been, we’d like to invite you to see what the buzz is all about. See what Pier Park has in store for you (literally), as it’s just a short drive, walk, or bike ride from all our Resort Collection beach properties!
