As we welcome you to our resorts in Panama City Beach, Florida, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and resort operations, Southern Vacation Rentals’ Clean Collection initiative is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates.

Public Spaces

Starting with our public spaces and high-traffic areas, we are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency, dedicated staff, and recommended cleaning agents.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at our front desks, our elevator banks, meeting spaces, and other common areas.

Social Distancing

Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. We will be adding plexiglass partitions at our front desks to provide an extra level of precaution for our guests and our associates.

Food & Beverage Outlets

Southern Vacation Rentals has been ensured that all food and beverage outlets have implemented increase cleaning and sanitizing measures including cleaning and sanitizing all hard surfaces regularly, all door handles or knobs regularly, cleaning and sanitizing tables, table condiments, check presenters, pens, menus, and table tops after each seating. Any employees who experience flu-like symptoms are required to stay home until symptoms are gone for at least 24 hours. Bartenders are required to sanitize their hands between each drink order.

Guest Rooms

In our vacation rental units, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. We encourage all of our guests to bring additional cleaning products to use throughout their stay. In compliance with the new guidelines set forth by Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Southern Vacation Rentals has removed all bedding comforters, spreads, quilts, decorative pillows, etc., from within our vacation rental units. Bedding will consist solely of freshly-laundered sheets and blankets. We encourage all guests to bring their own additional comfort items to ensure a pleasurable sleeping experience while here.

Wristbands

At some Southern Vacation Rentals properties, guests are required to wear wristbands while on property. For your safety, wristbands are not being reused for future guests. Think of it as a take-home souvenir! However, we will be charging guests our cost for the wristbands at this time at the rates per wristband stated below.
