Great resort, ok unit.
by LisaWe had a great vacation and loved the resort but will stay away from this unit in the future. Nothing was bad enough to have to contact management so no issues with resort collections. It’s just that there wasn’t much of an effort on behalf of how the unit was setup to make our stay as enjoyable as it could have been. Here’s a few examples. No hangers in the closet. The only cooking pan was small. No fitted sheets for the sofa bed and only a worn light fleece blanket. Stains on couch. Old and worn looking recliner. Wicker table tops and coffee table without a glass top making it impossible to clean crumbs off of. Bath and kitchen faucets detaching from wall and counter. TVs were very old/basic and not having any kind of smart functionality to sign into Netflix. Washer kept staying locked and didn’t have a great spin cycle leaving clothes very wet and taking forever to dry. Floor mats would have been nice. Drain in tub didn’t work. Again, we didn’t want to have anyone coming in to fix any of these things while we were on vacation so didn’t raise any concerns. The little things really make a difference and should have been considered. We did love the resort because the beaches don’t fill up as much as some of the others in the area. Major plus. We also enjoyed the resort security check out front and the pool was great. Great location close to everything. Elevators came quickly and sound proofing was good in that we didn’t hear any neighbors. We’ve stayed in a different unit at Long Beach Resort before and would stay again, just not in this unit.
